New Construction Wire Tech

Job Duties

• Must be able to read blueprints
• Wire houses for multiple low voltage services, including security, TV, data, cameras, audio systems and more
• Responsible for wiring jobs according to blueprints and job specifications
• Complete trim-out of new construction homes, including termination of network cabling, termination of coax, security devices, installing speakers and other audio components
• Troubleshooting low voltage electrical systems
• Must be able to work independently

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Clean driving record
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently, self-managing your projects and time
• Willingness to learn
• Be physically able to use ladders repeatedly throughout the day
• Must also be able to work in small, confined and sometimes dark spaces including, but not limited to, crawl spaces and attics
• You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, pass a background check and become registered through the State of Tennessee

Alarm system installation experience (5 years) is preferred but not required — we train on the job.
